5 Tips to Spring Clean Your Eating Habits

After a long Canadian winter, we’re excited to say that spring is almost here! There’s no better time of year for refreshing eating habits to feel healthy and happy for the new season.

1. Organize your kitchen

Organize key spaces in your kitchen like your fridge and pantry to keep nutritious foods arranged at the front where you can see them. Keep healthy foods like cut veggies and hard boiled eggs in clear glass containers for an easy reminder for healthy snacking!

2. Eat more whole foods

One of the easiest ways to spring clean your diet is to eat more whole, unprocessed foods like vegetables, fruits, whole grains and lean proteins. They’re loaded with nutrients and are often lower in sugar and sodium compared to processed foods. Eggs are a whole, unprocessed food loaded with important nutrients like vitamins A, D and E, folate, iron, zinc and choline.
